African Heritage Festival (Feb 10-11)
Celebrating diversity of African and African-American cultures, this annual celebration
at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach has ethnic food, arts and crafts.
Annual Newport Beach Jazz Party (Feb 15-18)

Mainstream jazz fans will again be treated to four nights and three full days of straight
ahead jazz and more than 60 artists including Benny Green, Jeff Hamilton, Houston Person
and the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra. A jazz brunch and other events will take place
in the intimate setting of the Newport Beach Marriott Resort & Spa.
Scottish Festival & Games (Feb 16-18)
Celebrate Scottish heritage aboard the most famous ship to be built on the River Clyde,
the Queen Mary. Scottish music, dance and traditional athletic events are highlights of
this colorful festival.
Lincoln Celebration Historical Re-enactment (Feb 17)
Mission San Juan Capistrano hosts an annual affair featuring costumed actors focused
on documents signed by President Abraham Lincoln in 1865 deeding the Mission back to
